Yeah, yeah, yeah, so what if I’m just now getting around to blogging about our New Years? It’s only 8 days late
Our night was very uneventful (which is always a good thing when talking about amateur night New Years Eve). We spent the holiday with with a lot of great friends — ones that we don’t always get a chance to hang out with, which always makes for great fun!
We first stopped at Gary and Tina’s house. We originally stopped by to say “HI”, have a drink and then head off. However, one beer turned into a few after their friends Grif and Lisa showed up
We just love these guys — Gary and Tina are probably some of the most genuine and friendly people you will ever meet. And Grif and Lisa are just a riot!
This is attempt #2 w/ taking a picture using the timer
After leaving Gary and Tina’s, we stopped at the liquor store and picked up the worlds largest bottle of champagne. I didn’t realize they sold champagne in 1.5 liters! I only wish I had taken a picture of it.
We then headed over to another friends house, Krista & Todd. It has been a yearly tradition to get together with this group of friends, for maybe the last 4 years or so? These are people that we (meaning I) don’t see regularly, but always have a good time with them. Unfortunately, life happens, and the size of our group has fizzled but we still have fun. This year, there were 8 of us;
Berta and Justin (aka Wheeze)
Krista and Todd (aka Meiko)
Kori & Micky
and of course, us
I, for once, didn’t over-drink myself and didn’t feel like ass the next day. Always a plus
